Book Week Parade Celebration
On Monday the 18th we celebrated Book Week with our much loved annual parade. It was a wonderful morning filled with colour, creativity, and a shared love of stories. Students proudly showcased their costumes, inspired by favourite book characters. We saw Red Riding Hood, Harry Potter, Fancy Nancy, Where’s Wally, Willy Wonka and many more imaginative outfits take to the stage.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of our Reading Awards, recognising students who have shown enthusiasm, growth, and dedication to reading. Congratulations to Charlotte C, Roman, Sienna, Gracie, Ivy, Evan, Emily, Norah, Felix, Charlie K, Eleanor, Isobelle, Hamish, Edison, Maddie and Pavneet for their outstanding achievement.
Book Week is always a reminder of the joy reading brings to our school community. Thank you to all students, staff, and families for supporting this special celebration of literature and imagination.
Premier’s Reading Challenge Reminder
Earlier this term, students were encouraged to set themselves a personal reading goal as part of the Premier’s Reading Challenge. They had 10 weeks to work towards their goal, with the challenge officially concluding on Monday 25th August.
We now ask that all completed forms be handed in as soon as possible so we can finalise results. Our school will be celebrating the achievements of our readers in Term 4 with a special recognition event.
Thank you for supporting your child’s reading journey at home! We can’t wait to celebrate together!
