School Information

School Uniform
As we move into the cooler months, we ask families to support students in wearing the correct Baimbridge College uniform each day.
Uniform is an important part of setting high expectations. It helps create a sense of belonging, pride, and consistency across our school. It also supports students in understanding real-world expectations around presentation and responsibility.
We appreciate your support in reinforcing these expectations with your child. Uniform items can be purchased at Accurate Clothing, scarfs and bucket hats can also be purchased at Reception.
Many of our classrooms are heated in winter and cooled in summer, so students can utilise the many layers we offer to be in the correct uniform.
Attendance
All Victorian Government schools are required to record and monitor student attendance and absences.
To ensure attendance records are accurate, it is important that the correct absence reason is selected when submitting Attendance Notes in Compass. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain accurate records.
Using Compass (via the App or Web version), parents and carers can add an Attendance Note:
- for an upcoming absence, and/or
- for a previous unexplained absence.
How to Enter an Attendance Note in Compass
Compass Parent Guides are available for both Compass Web and Compass App users. Please refer to the guides below for step-by-step instructions.
Which “Reason” Should I Choose?
Parents and carers often ask which absence reason they should select when submitting an Attendance Note.
To assist, we have prepared a table outlining the Compass absence reasons alongside the Department of Education descriptions. We encourage all families to refer to this table and select the most appropriate reason when recording an absence.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Reminder
Just a friendly reminder to families that the staff car park near Reception is not to be used for student drop-offs or pick-ups.
To help keep our school safe and traffic flowing smoothly, we ask that families please use the parking areas along Mt Baimbridge Road and the service road on Coleraine Road instead.
We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe and organised environment for all students and staff.
Supervision is provided on site from 8:20AM, students are not to arrive before this time so that we may remain compliant with Child Safe Standards. Please expect a call home if you are dropping your child off early.
