Anti-Racism Contact Officer and
Religous Intolerance Helpine
All public schools in NSW have at least one Anti-Racism Contact Officer (ARCO). Ms Zanetti is the ARCO at Peakhurst Public School.
Ms Zanetti’s role as the ARCO is important in assisting and working collaboratively with the principal to implement three major aspects of the Anti-Racism Policy:
Ms Zanetti is trained to provide advice to parents and carers, and teachers and students about the procedure for resolving complaints about racism. If requested, the ARCO can also act as a support person or advocate during the complaint’s resolution process.

Peakhurst Public School recognises, values and respects the cultural, linguistic and spiritual diversity of all our students, their families and our staff. The 'Religious Intolerance Helpline' is an over the phone service that can assist in reports of bullying or intolerance based on religious belief or spirituality.
