Primary Gymnastics

Gymnastics club has been very successful this year and on Wednesday 24 August 2022 students selected to compete in the Primary Interschool Gymnastics will be heading to the State Gymnastics Centre in Melbourne to compete. This year we have 4 teams competing in various levels.

 

These students have been committed to training once a week at lunch for the last couple of terms and will have two more training sessions before the competition. 

 

The Senior Legends Team comprising of Neisha Davidson, Molly Webb, Grace McMaster, Indiana GilbertCharlese KirkpatrickLexi BoydAllegra Smith and Jencie Dunn will train:

  • Week 6 - Thursday 18 August at lunch in AT5, and 
  • Week 7 - Monday 22 August during period 2 in the Hall.

Their competition time is Wednesday 24 August 2022 10:30 am– 12:30pm.           

                        

The Senior Champions Team comprising of Eliza Leeds, Toby KennedySophie JardineViolet McGillivrayKeisha HallSienna Weeks, Laura Mitchell and Ava Connally will train:

  • Week 6 - Tuesday 16 August at lunch in AT5, and 
  • Week 7 - Monday 22 August during period 1 in the Hall.

Their competition time is Wednesday 24 August 2022 1:15 – 3:15pm.         

            

The Junior Legends Team comprising of Payton Polido, Haylo James, Evie Andersen, Harper Crawford, Grace Spear, Harlow McCallum and Leni Coburn will train:

  • Week 6 - Thursday 18 August at lunch in AT5, and 
  • Week 7 - Tuesday 23 August during period 1 in the Hall.

Their competition time is Wednesday 24 August 2022 1:15 – 3:15pm.

 

The Junior Champions Team comprising of Emma Coffey, Isa Kenley, Billie Chapman, Chloe Wildes, Quinny Knowles-Mulholland, Addison Coburn, Kaitlin Goodsell and Amelia Goodsell will train:

  • Week 6 - Tuesday 16 August at lunch in AT5, and 
  • Week 7 - Tuesday 23 August during period 2 in the Hall.

Their competition time is Wednesday 24 August 2022 10:30 am– 12:30pm.

 

I wish to congratulate all these students on their enthusiasm and commitment shown so far this year in gymnastics and look forward to our final weeks of preparation.

 

I would also like to thank Jamison McFadden, Lauren O’Dea (Year 12 students) for their support and amazing coaching as well as Linda Johnston (parent volunteer) for her commitment and support of gymnastics club this year.
