May Horikawa

Early Childhood Educator

May will be starting at GEKA Orrong Road from Term 3 in the Red and Blue groups. Prior to working at GEKA, May has been working in Early Childhood for three years. She has completed both her Diploma and Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care, and spends her Saturdays as an educator at a private Japanese kindergarten.

May speaks Japanese and English fluently, and her main areas of interest include sustainable practices and multicultural activities!

May grew up surrounded by the ocean, so she always dreamed of being a mermaid! In her spare time she enjoys making coffee, restaurant hopping, fishing, camping and hiking.
