Softball whizz to Fly High - One of the success stories of 2002 was when fast-rising Deer Park softballer and Marian student-Janelle Cocks was celebrating her finest moment on the diamond.  The 15 year old catcher-batter blitzed the opposition to help inspire the U16 representative side to a stunning triumph at the Australian Championships in Hobart.  It was said that her batting was dynamic.
