We have entered the season of Advent.

Advent Prayer

Lord Jesus, 

Master of both the light and the darkness, 

send your Holy Spirit upon our preparations for Christmas. 

We who have so much to do and seek quiet spaces to hear your voice each day, 

We who are anxious over many things look forward to your coming among us.

Amen.

A Prayer for Christmas Day

Almighty God, 

Who has poured upon us the new light of your Incarnate Word; 

Grant that the same light enkindled in our hearts may shine forth in our lives through Jesus Christ our Lord. 

Amen.

MANY THANKS

Many thanks to all the families and staff at St Augustine's for the huge amount of donations towards the St Vincent de Paul hampers.  Special thanks to Mrs Margaret Warlond  ( Nicky Warlond's Grandmother) for her kind and generous donation to purchase items for the hampers too. The Vinnie's volunteers involved in packing the hampers were overwhelmed and grateful for the generosity of our school community. They will be able to make about 40 jampacked hampers that will certainly put a smile on the faces of those receiving them this Christmas season.
