Brother Ollys Wheelchairs

Earlier this week I delivered our collection of ring pulls to the Wheelchairs for Kids workshop in Wangara. Brother Olly Pickett was very grateful for our contribution. The ring pulls are sold to scrap metal suppliers and the money raised is used to purchase supplies to make the wheelchairs. These rough terrain wheelchairs are distributed to kids in 65 lesser developed countries. Over the years Brother Olly and his many helpers have produced over 28,000 chairs. This year Year 2M collected the most ring pulls and they will be treated to a pizza lunch on Friday 7 December to thank them for their efforts. Thank you for your efforts this year and remember, start collecting for next year.
