ASRC Donations: bring a can if you can

HOW CAN YOU HELP CHPS HELP ASYLUM SEEKER RESOURCE CENTRE?

BRING A CAN IF YOU CAN

EACH FRIDAY BRING A CAN OF FOOD FROM YOUR PANTRY AND SEND IT DOWN TO THE CANTEEN WITH YOUR LUNCH ORDER BASKET. IF EVERY STUDENT BROUGHT ONE CAN, WE COULD DONATE 700 CANS OF FOOD PER WEEK! THAT WOULD MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE TO PEOPLE SEEKING ASYLUM!

When you donate food to the ASRC Foodbank, you’ll make a difference to people seeking asylum by providing one of the most basic human rights – food.

ASRC Foodbank currently provides free groceries to around 1,000 people, most of whom have no income and no work rights. Around half of them are children.

Food is one of the most immediate and tangible ways to give someone a hand up. Every donation makes a difference.

Please drop any donations into the donations box sitting inside the door to the MPR near the canteen window.

Ordering food through YourGrocer or Coles Online is ANOTHER  safe AND convenient way to support the work of our Foodbank. Please check the grocery list attached for the most-needed items.
