School Notices

Just a reminder that students are required to use their Compass Card when purchasing from the canteen.

This makes it easier and quicker for the Canteen staff and less queuing time for students.

If students have lost/misplaced their Compass Card, these can be ordered directly by logging into your Compass account.

RECESS and LUNCH orders can be pre ordered via Compass.

STUDENT SUPERVISION BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL

Please be aware that teachers are on duty in the grounds on the:

7-10 Campus: from 8.30am until 3.40pm.

Senior Campus: from 8.00am until 3.40pm.

It is advisable for students to arrive at school after supervision begins unless they have:

  • scheduled class time
  • a planned activity (eg semper squad)

Please note that some buses leave after the conclusion of yard duty.  Students are expected to behave in a responsible manner when in school uniform, before and after school.  The public often contact Frankston High School to comment on the excellent behaviour of students in public areas.

STUDENT COMPASS CARDS

Keep your card in your laptop bag, student diary or pencil case and present to:

  • sign in and out of the Compass Kiosks
  • borrow books from the library
  • access printers/photocopiers around the school
  • borrow sport equipment
  • purchase items at the canteen and
  • also use as an ID Card for public transport/concessions.

Lost cards must be replaced.  Replacement cards can be ordered from Compass for $10.

SCHOOL DROP OFF AND PICK UP - CROSSING BETWENN CAMPUSES

APM Group has taken possession of the front carpark on the 7-10 Campus including the basketball courts. Please refer to the map provided below. Students will need to follow the paths of travel as indicated on the map in yellow arrows when entering or exiting the school. This includes when moving across each campus via the marked pedestrian crossings on Foot St and Towerhill Rd. There will be a member of the Principal Team to supervise before school, after school and during breaks between periods. As there will be no carpark or drop off\pick up area, parents/carers will need to arrange a pick up point with their student in the surrounding streets.

Thank you to everyone for your efforts, we appreciate your patience and flexibility during this project particularly with movement between campuses and limitations with car parking.  We will continue to keep you updated with progress, and look forward to the completion of the different stages.
