Samuel Johnson at TCC

Samuel Johnson won a Gold Logie for his portrayal of Molly Meldrum. He also danced his way to the Mirrorball trophy on Dancing with the Stars.

But he would much prefer to be known as a brother to his sister Connie, who died of cancer in September 2017.

Since Connie’s diagnosis, Samuel has unicycled 16,000 kilometres around Australia, he has helped build a giant love heart out of 50 million five cent pieces and has helped raise more than 15 million dollars for cancer research.

And last week he arrived at Trinity as part of a visit to Colac to spread the word to our students, staff and families around the importance of men and women making regular health checks.

Samuel posed the possibility that one of the students in the audience may well be the person who goes on to find a cure for cancer.

Samuel's passion for his charity and energy was inspirational, and his unicycle skills in a tight area were impressive. He is doing all he can to raise much needed funds to find a cure for cancer.

Throughout the day we sold donuts from Ritcho's Bakery to raise money for Love Your Sister and we thank Tara and Mark for their support.
