Community Events & Fundraising

We are hopeful that 2022 will finally be the year of re-building community connections! It was certainly great to have so many families enjoying and volunteering at the recent Grade 1 Barefoot Bowls  - and really looking forward to the Foundation (this Sunday, 20th Feb) and Grade 2 (Sunday March 6th) events yet to come.

Plans are well underway for a number of events this term, including the school-wide Lap-a-thon on Friday March 18th and Moonlight Cinema on Friday March 25th. Please keep an eye out for these and be ready to pitch in and lend a hand – these events don’t run themselves and if all families can contribute it makes a huge difference to those co-ordinating.

Big thanks for the event leads for Barefoot Bowls – Emily Banks, Hannah McBride-Burgess, Emily Clark & Khoon Lai.

Our aim through-out the year will be to focus on casual, relatively COVID-safe opportunities for connection.  Fundraising will be a component of these events, but with COVID making big event plans more difficult, we will be keeping events relatively low-key.

Thanks to those who responded to the call for Class Reps – we are hoping to finalise shortly but appreciate your willingness to help.

Look forward to seeing you all at the Lapathon & Moonlight Cinema!
