Hockey

Please note the following advice from the Glenelg Region Hockey Association:

“In line with Hockey Victoria guidelines, we have postponed the start of the 2020 season with the best interest of our players, officials and wider community in mind.

“We will look to start the 2020 season as soon as the government guidelines and health authorities allow. The latest we will start would be 17th July. This would allow for 8 rounds and Grand Finals on September 11th and 12th. Top two teams play off in the Grand Final, no semi- finals or preliminary finals.

“The Association will review fees once a start date has been finalised. Please hold off from paying any fees or registering at this stage.

“GRHA Executive will continue to monitor the situation closely and we will keep you updated.

“We will be in touch with Hockey Victoria regarding the refund of money for payments that have already been made.

“Pedrina Park will not be available for club training or recreational bookings until further notice.

“Junior and Senior Country Week – Cancelled.

“Senior Country Championships – Cancelled.

“Junior State Championships – Cancelled.”

Given this information, we advise College families to delay any further actions to register until the situation is clear.  We will sort out arrangements with those who have already paid in due course.
