Staff v Students 

Tuesday the 4th of March saw the school gym packed with students eager to watch the year 12 student side take on a team of teachers in the annual staff vs student basketball match.

The lunchtime event was fun for players and spectators alike, with a massive turnout from all years ready to cheer on both teams (definitely the loudest for the students). 

The overall play from teachers team was decent, with some impressive shots at goal. However, this was not enough against the defense and teamwork of the students team. Intense play and effort from all involved until the final siren ensured the game was far from dull to watch. 

Congratulations to the year 12 student team for their 9 point win over the staff team, and a special shoutout to Mr Nasser, the coach, for his enthusiastic support from the sidelines. With the game ending 26-17, the teachers are sure to be hearing about this for a while to come. Plenty of time to start practising for next year!
