OGEA Star Awards

GEA STAR awards are peer submitted recognitions of the hard work and above and beyond attitude seen in so many of our colleagues in the day to day. We pause to take a moment to recognize those around us that make the sun shine a little brighter at work. Here are some of our STARS recognized so far this year in OGEA. Emmanuela Luna	Oak Ridge	3rd Grade Teacher	Emmanuela is a selfless coworker who is willing to help out without being asked!
Julie Rau	Sakamoto	3-5 SDC	Julie is a dynamic and top notch educator. Her positive upbeat personality, dedication to student success, and creative nature to keep her students engaged and motivated are just a few reasons why she is a STAR!! You are truly an inspiration!
Kevin McCullough	VPA	4th Grade VPA	Kevin is very supportive of the teachers and students he works with. Upon learning that I wasn't going to get all of my prep time, he helped me reach a resolution with the district. I appreciate his flexibility with scheduling and his super positive attitude. He's an amazing addition to the VPA program! You Rock, Kevin!
Kristy Loeper	Baldwin	ELTP	Kristy has been super supportive of me and my grade level this year, with everything from grade level planning, lesson planning for a long term sub, and SEAL. She has been a thought partner when I didn't have a grade level teammate. I appreciate her guidance and willingness to give up a Saturday to work with 4th grade.
Vanesa Nunez	Davis	ELA 7th Grade	Vanesa has gone above and beyond to support all 7th graders! By fundraising for both teams, she has made a world of difference and our field trips possible!
