On Monday the 1st of August, Kingswood had our Year 3 – 6 Athletics Carnival at Mentone Athletics Track. Since this was the first Athletics carnival since 2019, it was the first time most of our students have ever experienced running on a track and competing in track events. It was amazing to watch the student’s hard work that they have been doing in PE to prepare for the day come to light and see so many students shine in their running events.

A big thankyou to all the parent helpers and parents who came down to cheer the students on. It created such a great atmosphere for our competitors. For our year 4-6 students who competed, I am currently going through all the events as well as the field events at school and will be letting the selected students know if they have made the Kingswood Athletics Team which will compete on Monday the 29th of August at District.
