Diversity Week

A little bit different this year!

The week started with a whole school assembly. Many thanks to the following people for making it wonderful:

  • Aunty Zeta Thomson for the Welcome to Country
  • The Pacifika song and Dance group (Temu Mauga, Jean Tafa, Alunga Finau, Adrianah Lauago, Faith Tuloto Tuputala, Pale Faamau, Merci F Une Passi, Alice Chand)
  • MSC Choir (Sian Williams, Veronica Walokona, Ibwami Bolikoko, Noami Hlawnching)

Below is a list of the activities organised by the VCAL students: Boomerang painting, Cultural flag quizzes, Music trivia, Cultural bingo, Cultural Pictionary, Flag painting, Cultural Kahoots

 

STARR Connect classes, both online and onsite participated in activities that identified and discussed the cultural diversity of each class. These included “Where are you from?” activities, “Tell me something interesting” and Cultural Kahoots.
