Uniform News and Feedback Request

Thank you to the many parents who provided feedback about our Uniform Shop through the Whole School Survey.  In response to parent feedback we will continue to offer Flexischools for uniform orders, five days a week in 2021.  Also, from Monday November 30th, we will be opening the Uniform Shop on Mondays from 3.00-4.00pm.  Parents will need to sign in at the Compass Kiosk if visiting the Shop at this time and social distancing rules mean wait time for service could increase.  NB: The Uniform Shop will close for Stocktake on Monday December 14th.

In 2021, the Uniform Shop will open on Mondays, 3-4pm and Wednesdays, 8.30-9.30am.  Compass sign-in and social distancing procedures will continue to apply.

Second-hand Uniforms

We will no longer be selling second hand uniforms through the Uniform Shop, but encourage parents to sell their items through the CHAPS Facebook page.  If parents would like to donate uniform items that are no longer required to needy families, they will be welcomed at the school office.

Dress Code

We are considering changing our dress code, but we would like community input before changes are made. We are seeking feedback on:

  • A proposal to phase out cargo shorts - navy blue shorts will still be available.
  • The inclusion of navy blue leggings as a stand-alone item - an alternative to tracksuit pants. NB: navy blue stockings will still remain the accompanying leg covering under the pinafore.
  • A proposal of limiting shoes to either majority black or majority white – as opposed to the current permission to wear any colour shoes.
  • A proposal of plain white socks – as opposed to the current choice of either black or white socks. NB: the current statement stating that socks should not have large logos will remain.

If you would like to provide your opinion please complete this Google FORM by Monday December 7th.
