PHONICS AND READING - KINDER AND YEAR 1 PARENT SESSIONS

Just a reminder that our parent sessions for Kinder and Year 1 parents for Phonics and Reading are coming up on Tuesday 21st March. 

If you wish to attend, there are two different session times that you can choose from: 

Session 1: 5:00 - 5:45pm 

Session 2: 6:15 - 7:00pm

Below are the QR Codes to register. Each event can hold a maximum of 40 participants.

NAPLAN TESTING SCHEDULE

As you are aware, NAPLAN has been brought forward from this year to Term 1. The dates for NAPLAN are from the 15/3-27/3.  Below is the schedule of testing for St Patrick's. Most of the tests will be completed online, with the exception of Year 3 writing, which is a paper test. Tests have to be conducted in a certain order.

For those students completing Naplan for the first time, ACARA has released a Naplan Demonstration site, which gives students an opportunity to become more familiar with the NAPLAN online platform. This can be accessed at home or at school. We would appreciate those parents of students in Year 3 taking some time to have a look at this with their child. In class teachers are also working through a number of NAPLAN familiarisation activities, which involves orienting students to the online platform.
