COME DANCE WITH US!

If you are keen to try out a class at KF DANCE in 2021 now is your time! 

Spaces are available in a number of dance classes throughout the Geelong region (with 12 locations to select from there should be something nearby!)

The Mixed Style Classes (for 5 - 18 years) offer a mix of styles throughout the year with jazz, funk, hip-hop, lyrical and contemporary (depending on age group). 

We also offer specialist classes in acro, ballet, contemporary, commercial, tap, breakdance & musical theatre (triple threat).

Cost is $12 per class (pay per week) for our mixed style classes.

Council is seeking your feedback on whether the Shire should observe the Melbourne Cup Public Holiday or an alternative local holiday for the next four years.

 

Local community members and businesses are invited to have their say on the future of the Spring Public Holiday arrangements for Golden Plains Shire. Submissions are now open until 5pm, Sunday 18 April, 2021. Options for consideration include:

  • Continue recent arrangement (part-shire observation of Geelong and Ballarat Show Days)
  • Request an alternative local holiday, such as Geelong Cup Day
  • Observe the Melbourne Cup Holiday in all parts of the Shire

While we’ve had a relatively mild summer, the risk of grassfire is still very real. On days of elevated fire risk, postpone paddock work where possible and avoid using machinery in dry grass.
