Carols on the green

Our oval was a festive scene on Tuesday afternoon as we were able to enjoy our first in-person Christmas carols since 2019.

We heard some amazing singing and saw some excellent dance moves as each class performed a display that they'd choreographed themselves. We also enjoyed a sausage sizzle along with tasty treats and refreshing drinks and icy-poles beforehand.

Thank you to everyone who performed, helped out, and came along to watch and cheer.

We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Final School Council meeting for 2022

After the carols on Tuesday, we held our final school council meeting for the year where we discussed and passed the monthly financial reports.

Thank you to everyone on the council for their effort and support this year. If you're interested in joining the council for 2023, please keep an eye out for information on how to join that will be sent out early next year.

Child safety and wellbeing at Andersons Creek Primary School: information for families and the school community

The Victorian Government has announced new Child Safe Standards to further strengthen child safety across organisations, including schools. The new standards recognise the critical importance of families and the broader school community in maintaining and promoting child safety and wellbeing.

Andersons Creek Primary School has reviewed and updated our child safety policies and procedures to ensure they meet the requirements of the new standards. These are available to view on our school website.

We are committed to continuous improvement in our approach to child safety and wellbeing and welcome feedback from families and members of our school community on ways we can further strengthen our child safety policies, procedures and practices.

If you have any suggestions, comments or questions, please contact the school principal on 9844 2757 or at andersons.creek.ps@education.vic.gov.au.
