Notes from the Office

Thank you

A big thank you to Roger and Kay Edwards for dismantling the Redgum Festival sculpture down at the river and delivering it back to school.  Appreciate your assistance.

New carpet for the music room

We are in the process of getting quotes for some new carpet in the music room.  Once quotes have been received we will arrange for the works to be completed.  It will be nice to get rid of the old carpet that is probably nearly as old as me!!

Curtains for the music room

Would anyone know of someone who could make some simple block out curtains for the six high windows in the music room.  Rachel is wanting them covered, as the sun beams through them right in the vision of the students.  They will be straight forward blinds with a wire through the top, they don't need to have a part in them.  If you have someone in mind, please ask them to come to school and we can show them what we want.  Happy to pay them!

Upper Glenelg Landcare

I have had a visit from Lynn from the Upper Glenelg Landcare this week.  Lynn has received some funding for trees/shrubs in our school grounds.  She will try and source some new shrubs to outline the circle at Federation area at the front of the school.  This will be a great opportunity to have a tidy up around that area and possibly put in some new edging as well.

Have a good weekend

Tammy
