Regional Athletics 

On the 3rd of August, 7 of our students attended the Regional Athletics Carnival and Canberra! These students were Chelsea Ezeoke, Hannah Ezeoke, Kelly Blair, Ryan Dragarski, Andrew Crombie, Laim Ramsay, and Azzam Kanj.

All of these students performed amazingly - they did their best and displayed sportsmanship among the other competitors.

Whilst braving the cold weather and intense atmosphere, Chelsea, Hannah and Ryan were successful in making it to the next round in Sydney –the State Championships. Chelsea was successful in placing 1st in 100m, 200m, 400m, long jump, shot put and discus. Hannah achieved 2nd in 13 year girls shot put, and Ryan placed 2nd in the 14 year boys 200m and 4th in high jump.

Fantastic results for our athletes, we wish them all the best at State on the 5th 6th and 7th September.
