Tuition Fees

2017 fees

Thanks are extended to the majority of families who have attended to 2017 fees.  It should be noted that all accounts were due to be finalised by 30 September unless alternative arrangements had been approved in writing.  Contact is presently being made with remaining families with outstanding balances.

Debenture payments for families finishing at MSJ in 2017

Families whose daughter(s) conclude in 2017 will receive debenture refund notices shortly.  Families will have the option of donating to MSJ or securing a refund.

2018 Tuition Fees

The Fees Schedule for 2018 will be considered by our Board at its November meeting and notices will issue to families as soon as possible after the meeting.  The College and its Board are aware that there are financial pressures on many families and we are therefore trying to limit fee increases.  Several changes have been recommended for 2018 that you should be aware of:

  1. Families will be requested to advise us in December 2017 of their preferred payment option for 2018,
  2. Families will be able to complete a ‘once off’ rather than annual deduction authority, and
  3. The payment discount for payment in full by 28 February is likely to be increased, and

Families are encouraged to contact the College if they need to alter deduction authorities or have any queries in relation to fees.

2018 Camps, Sport and Excursion Fund (CSEF)

Further information will be provided in relation to the State Government’s CSEF assistance for Health Care Card holders.  In addition to the $225 provided by the State, the College also provides an additional $1,000 for eligible families.  Holders of Health Care Cards are encouraged to apply for the assistance.

'LINK Educational supplies' is the College book and stationery supplier and we ask that you use their reliable and convenient services when purchasing items required for the 2018 school year.

The easiest and most efficient way to order is through 'LINK Educational' online and select delivery to your home. This option is available all year round through our Bookseller. To order online for the 2018 school year follow the instructions on the Booklist.

If delivery to the College is selected, orders must be received by the date indicated on the front cover of the Booklist.

The Booklist for senior students moving into Years 10, 11 and 12, was distributed to students, including cover letters with important dates and purchasing methods. VCE Booklist orders are due by 1 November so that orders are available for Headstart. Online orders for delivery to homes are open all year and require prepayment.

Year 10 students are not obliged to order items early in November unless they prefer to have items for Headstart.  Orders placed after 1 November can be collected in the new year on Monday, 29 January 2018 unless ordered online for home delivery which requires prepayment.

The Booklist for students moving into Years 8 and 9 will be distributed to students in the last week of October. Orders are to be returned by 8 December for collection from the College on Monday, 29 January 2018, unless ordered online for home delivery, which requires prepayment.

Annual online subscriptions for Education Perfect, Language Perfect and Edrolo are to be paid through 'LINK Educational'  and are listed as a FEE on the Booklist. Subscriptions can be ordered online or by returning the Booklist to the College with the FEE boxes ticked along with payment details.

A copy of the Booklists can be found in the MSJ Public folder online at <https://drive.google.com/open?id=0ByEx-9kTsufCemZBSUk2a0lkRUE >
