Sporting Honour

The MSJ's Sports Coordinator, Mrs Sue Sofarnos was recently recognised for her contribution to Community, State and National sport, particuarly women's lacrosse, by being named as a baton bearer for the Queen's relay for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth games.

Nominated by her peers for her achievements and contributions to sport, the baton bearers represent the spirit of the Commonwealth and inspire others to contribute.

Sue will carry the baton on Saturday 10 February 2018 in Williamstown. MSJ will be there to cheer Sue on the relay.
