Kingfisher Fair

What an amazing display of community spirit we saw in action on Sunday at the Fair. There are many moving parts involved in putting on such a large event and we would like to thank EVERYONE for their amazing contributions. It really was a huge team effort.

Particular mention must go to the students who took up the opportunity of having a Student Enterprise stall.  We have an array of budding entrepreneurs in our school:

Pet Treat Central (Chelsea Pearson, Year Eight)

Stirling Woodcraft (Thomas Nelson, Year Ten)

Nyomi's Handmade Crafts (Nyomi Johnson, Year Seven)

Jewellery & Hair Scrunchies (Myla Griskonis & Molly O'Malley, Year Five)

Artist (Bethany Robertson, Year Ten)

Flickers Candle Co (Stella Boyce, Year Ten)

Parker's Avocados (Parker Bowey, Year Four)

Sassy Sista's (Grace & Abby Gors, Years Five and Six, homemade jewellery)

Special mention must also go to:

  • Mr Cameron Clifford, our MC extraordinaire
  • Ms Rachael Wilsher-Saa, for her superb co-ordination of the P&F Tea House
  • Mr Martin Franzinelli & Mr Simon Bairstow, carriage ride drivers (who had as much fun as the passengers)
  • Mrs Jude Hartzell, for managing the hilarity and cuteness of the Pet Parade
  • Ms Mand Markey, for the amazing installation of the colourful bunting
  • Mr Colin Turner & Ms Delma Baesjou from Laserscape who kindly donate their proceeds to the P&F
  • Mr David O’Keeffe, who kindly donates his time to make sure that the power requirements are managed safely
  • Mr Gary Cross, Head of Facilities & Property, and his team who helped manage logistics, parking and many other important tasks on the day.

We know that everyone is eager to know how much money their own stall raised and as soon as the final figures are available, we will let the P&F year and class reps know.
