Wow 2 weeks to go and the children are ready and eager to share their performance of Aladdin Jnr with you all.

Some important reminders for next week:

Rehearsals: A Full Dress Rehearsal will be held during school time in the St Louis hall for all Main Cast A & B, Dancers and Year Prep–6 students

• Thursday 20th October- Jafar Cast: 6KO, 5CP, 4CR, 3RD, 2GL, 1GW, PHM

Rehearsals will be also held during the day at Frankston Arts Centre. All students will be attending a rehearsal on the day of their performance. Students are to wear school sports uniform to school on this day, it is NOT a Dress Rehearsal.

Cast and dancers will be leaving St Louis at 10.00am via bus and returning by train 3.10.pm

Prep to Yr 3 will be leaving St Louis at 11.00am via bus and returning via bus by 3.10pm.

Yr 4 to 6 will be travelling via train leaving at 10.30am and returning via train by 3.10pm.

We will require 2 parent helpers to travel to the rehearsal at the theatre.

Please look out for the Operoo from your child’s classroom teacher to register your interest.

Students should have a hearty meal prior to the performance, as no food is allowed to be consumed backstage. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle.

Arrival time for Main Cast & Dancers on performance night On each performance night the Main Cast need to arrive at FAC at 5pm followed by the dancers at 5.20pm.

Students need to report to the stage entry/loading dock door and they will be marked off by a staff member.

Arrival time for Students on performance night: On each performance night, all students must arrive at the FAC by 6pm. Children must be dropped off by a parent to the right of the theatre in the loading dock. There will be classroom signs displayed and the teacher will be waiting for the students.

Collection time for Students on performance night: Parents will need to sign their children out upon collection at the end of the night. Class distribution points for collection (loading dock) will be announced from the stage at the end of each performance.

All students will be on stage after their performance for final bow. There will be 10-minute delay at the conclusion of the performance while students return backstage to collect their belongings.

Production Students will remain backstage for the full duration of the performance and will only be dismissed at the end of the show.

Parents/audience members will not be permitted backstage at any time prior to, throughout or after the performance, except for authorised parent helpers.

Due to copyright reasons, there is to be NO photos or videography taken of the performance.

Costumes, Make up & Hair requirements:

• Costumes: All items to be provided by families will need to be sent to your child’s/children's classrooms by Friday 15th October 2022 or before their dress rehearsal day at the school.

• Foot wear: children must wear black runners, black canvas shoes or black school shoes with black socks.

• Labelling your child's/children's belongings: VERY IMPORTANT that everything you bring in, is CLEARLY labelled with your child's/children's name and class.

ALL MAKE UP FOR ALL CLASSES MUST BE APPLIED AT HOME BEFORE COMING TO THE PERFORMANCE NIGHT.

Prep- Grade 6 Make up/Hair Requirements

Hair: Long hair tied up in low pony tails; short hair neatly combed.

Make up:

Foundation base 1-2 shades darker than normal skin tone

• Set foundation with powder.

• Highlight colour under the brow (white, pale or nude).

• Eyelid contoured with brown shade of shadow as pictured.

• Eye-browns shaded with pencil in a darker colour than normal tone.

• Cheeks contoured and highlighted with pink shade of blush.

• Mascara on eyelashes

• Red, Tan, Maroon or Brown lipstick.
