Hi everyone

The Kingston Division Athletics carnival has been rescheduled for next Monday 17th October after two postponements.  It will be a quick turnaround for any successful athletes as the South Metro Athletics will be on Wednesday 19th October.   Let's hope for good weather.

The Tuesday Morning Running Club started with 2 runners in week 1 and then 11 runners in week 2.  The 2 km run is great way to start the day for any students from Year 3 to Year 6.  Parents are more than welcome to come and join us.  We have students who run the distance in amazing times, like Teagan and Rory, as they prepare themselves for the 1500 m next Monday.  We also have runners who walk a little bit of the way.  And that's O.K. because they have a goal to run the full distance.

Our Year 3s to 6s are currently learning golf.  We started with putting and, weather permitting, we hope to get out and master chipping and a fuller swing.  Our preps to Year 2 are throwing the frisbee around.  It is a back handed throw so we are learning to put the same foot forward to increase our distance and improve our accuracy.   That's Charlie in the photo and I don't think you can throw it any straighter than that!
