VICTORIAN GLOBAL LEARNING AWARDS

Last week, Gary Agg, the International Student Manager and I had the pleasure of attending the Victorian Global Learning Awards which are run by the International Education Division of the Department of Education. These awards recognise and celebrate International Students’ contributions. 

Students are celebrated for their achievements in a number of areas including Academic Excellence, Arts, Community Engagement, Global Citizenship, Resilience and Innovation and Student leadership.

Brighton Secondary College has a long history of our international students being recognised for their  achievements in a variety of areas.

This year we were invited to celebrate Nhu Vo, a student from our Year 12 2022 cohort, who received a Global Citizenship Commendation Award. Nhu was an engaged and valuable member of the Brighton Secondary College community. Nhu is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne.

We are incredibly proud of her and sincerely wish Nhu all the very best in her future studies.
