CIS EVALUATION

Next week we welcome seven international educators into our school. They will make up the team of CIS evaluators who will assist us in our journey of becoming an accredited Council of International Schools (CIS). 

The CIS is an internationally recognised accreditation, with a focus on the development of students as global citizens. The CIS outlook has two Primary goals:

• a desire to provide students with the knowledge, skills and abilities to pursue their lives as global citizens; and
• a commitment to high quality international education.

As outlined in previous communication, the college has been on a three year self-evaluation journey.

The motivation for this work is primarily because the ethos and values of the CIS perfectly align with our own.

It is about having the students as our focus – as we undergo a rigorous process of self-evaluation.

The award of CIS International Accreditation demonstrates that a school:

• is devoted to its mission and vision for students
• has thought deeply about the services it offers to students, family and community.

We look forward to showcasing our college and welcoming  our visitors into our classrooms as we continue to seek self-improvement.
