Sports Update:

What a fantastic term of sport it has been. Well done to everyone who has represented Brighton Secondary College. In the final weeks of term 2, we have held competition rounds for year 7 and 8 PASE, the SMR cross country final and the amazing staff versus year 12 basketball game. 

What a wonderful effort it was by the students and teachers. A big congratulations to the teachers who were champions on the day. The team consisted of Mrs Wilson, Mr Naef, Miss Merkel, Joe, along with the support of student teachers. Thank you to those who supported and special mention to Macy for organising the game. 

A few words from Macy: 

The first Staff VS Student game commenced last Friday, where the Year 12s competed against the teachers in a game of basketball. Students at half time were ahead of the teachers, but after some unfortunate moves by the students and some epic goals by the teachers, the teachers became victorious 21 to 18!

Thanks to all of the students and teachers that participated! It was a great game to be a part of and witness for all! I am grateful for all of our competitors having a go as well as all of the supporters on the sideline to make this game heaps of fun!

I am looking forward to seeing even more participants with our other upcoming games next term!
