Chang Review

College Feast Day

The whole school community came together at the end of Term 2 to celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi. In the morning we participated in a march promoting our school’s diverse cultures and celebrated Mass. After this we ran our market stalls and our Chang homegroups set up stalls including throwing water balloons at teachers, selling cans of soft drink and running a dunk machine. Once this ended, the annual CRC Sydenham talent quest was run. Chang was represented by Josh Lopez, Janine Agarino and Emmanuel Soriano who all put in great performances and should be proud of their efforts.

Timor Leste fundraiser

Prior to the Student Futures evening that the College was hosting, Chang ran a sausage sizzle to raise funds for the Timor Leste appeal. A total of $200 was raised. Thanks to our volunteers Ben Janson, Jake Krohn and Sirin Mirham

Sports Report

Chang has had many representatives in SACCSS sport teams during July. Students have participated in rugby, chess and soccer. Cluster sport for this term is european handball and tchoukball. The Chang students are looking forward to gaining some revenge on the other clusters and rising up on the O’Reilly Shield ladder.

Upcoming Events

Chang is looking forward to the College Mass on the 9th of August where the Dennett Courts will be blessed as well as the Awards Assembly on the 16th of August.
