CS In Schools Award

Congratulations to Year 7 Student Joel F who was named as one of only two students Australia-wide in the annual CS in Schools Awards.

CS in Schools is an Australian organisation creating sustainable change in Australian digital technology education. They help schools create relevant and meaningful education by building industry connections with schools.

In entering the program, Joel spent four weeks creating a game in class using 'Python', with his Teacher, Mr Mick Fitzpatrick.

The game is called "Demon’s Eye" and is an adventure game with lots of characters. Depending on how you interact with characters influences the ending.

Joel says, "I was really excited by the opportunity to enter this competition and even happier when I found out I won a Nintendo Switch OLED."
