I am looking forward to getting to know our students and families and seeing their achievements throughout the year.

I grew up on a farm in Goomalling which my family still run. I have lived in Cunderdin for 5 years and love being a part of the College.

My teaching background is Mathematics and English. I have come back to the College after a year with our baby boy, Sebastian.

I'm looking forward to getting back onto the tools and into the workshops teaching students.

Born and bred in the country, I have been involved in agricultural education for 32 years, having commenced here at Cunderdin back in 1994 -1998, and as Teacher, HOD Trades and Deputy Principal at WACoA Harvey from 2000 – 2025.

I'm married and have two adult children who are both involved in agriculture.

Interests and hobbies include caravanning and touring this great country of ours, motorbike riding, and outdoor activities.

Trades - Automotive (returning)

I have the wonderful opportunity to watch Automotive students gain and recall car repair knowledge that they will use in the future at some point, whether it is large or small.

I’m a very keen AFL supporter; enjoy camping and visiting all the hidden gems around this wonderful country we live in. I adore water skiing and have a long passion for building old cars from the 20’s to the 50’s.

As an apprentice with a Mitsubishi Dealer, I won a Mitsubishi Dealers State outstanding excellence award and qualified for a 10 day fully paid trip to Japan with 10 other nominees from around Australia to visit 4 Mitsubishi car production factories/plant. Then as a tradesman, I worked in other Mitsubishi Dealers strengthening my product knowledge.

I successfully worked and managed various general repair workshops which added to my automotive repair industry knowledge and exposed me to wider range of car makers.  This then set the correct pathway for me to open my own mechanical repair business in 2000.

After running my business for 10 years, I changed my career to teaching apprentices the Automotive Trade Certificate.

I have been at the WA College of Agriculture – Cunderdin since 2016.
