Sydney Athletics Championships

On Friday 29th August 4 students represented our school at the Sydney Athletics Championships at Sydney Olympic Athletics Centre. These students competed in track events against other schools after qualifying at the Conference 2 Athletics Championships held earlier in the month. We had many top 10 overall results. 

Congratulations to the following students for their outstanding effort: Elizabeth A, Stella M, Sadie P and Micah R.

A special mention to the following 2 students who have qualified to compete at the Mackillop Athletics Championships on Friday 29th September: Stella M (200m run) and Sadie P (100m dash). We wish them all the best at this event!

Stage 2 Interschool Sport Soccer Gala Day

Our Stage 2 students participated in the Interschool Sport Soccer Gala Day on Tuesday 8th September at Campbell Park, Chiswick. The students demonstrated perseverance, sportsmanship and enjoyment at the gala day, whether it was against other schools or against each other! 

Thank you to all of the teachers and parent volunteers who assisted our 10 teams on the day. 

Interschool Sport

Interschool sport provides an opportunity for all students, no matter their ability, to regularly compete against other Sydney Catholic Schools in a fun, active and friendly environment. There are two of these events occurring this term which will require parent volunteers to assist with managing a team. The Compass permission note for the final event of the term has been sent out. If you are able to assist at this event, please indicate this on the Compass permission form.

• Stage 3 Interschool Sport - Netball:  Tuesday 16th September (Week 9)
