Welcome back to Term 2 of 2026. We hope that everyone had a great school holiday break and are feeling refreshed for the next term. The PFA will be busy this term with Mother’s Day coming up, the Colour Fun Run and our Second Hand Uniform Store launching.
Second Hand Uniform Store
Our second hand uniform store will be starting up in Week 2.
The store will be running for four Wednesdays after school (3:00pm - 3:30pm) outside the library. (Will not run May 6th due to Mother’s Day Stall).

If you have any uniforms that your children have outgrown, please consider donating them. If they are clean and in good-condition, please drop them off at the school office.
Colour Fun Run
Make sure you register, it’s a great way to raise money for the school with lots of great prizes for the kids. If you haven’t participated before, it is a fun day that the students and parents all enjoy.
We have a big reveal with our second teacher being slimed next week. Stay tuned for updates
Mother’s Day Stall
The Mother’s Day Stall will be open the week before Mother’s Day, on the 6th and 7th of May. Items will range from $0.50 to $5.00. It is a great way for kids to get a gift for that special woman in their life.
Please send a bag along with your child to bring their items home.
We will also be conducting a Mother’s Day Raffle; we have some amazing prizes available

New Members
Interested in getting involved with the Parents and Friends Association (PFA)?
We are always looking for new members to join. You can be involved as much or as little as you like — there’s no pressure to do more than you’re comfortable with.
We hold monthly meetings on Tuesdays at 5:30pm in the school library. You’re welcome to bring your children along, join online from home, or stay involved even if you’re unable to attend meetings. Email pfa.wollert.ps@gmail.com for more information.

Not interested in planning but would like to volunteer?
Keep an eye on Compass for volunteering opportunities.
Volunteer opportunities may be ongoing or one off events and could include:
- Helping with canteen duty
- Assisting on sports days or special school events
- Helping at Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls
- Supporting classroom activities such as reading
- Helping with fundraising events or working bees
