Music: In Music this term, students will be learning about beat and rhythm and introduced to Ta and Titi.

They will be exposed to different genres of music from Classical to Jazz.

In PE this term, students will be further developing their understanding of motor skill developments and refining their knowledge of correct techniques of throwing, catching, kicking and running.

In Art this term, Year 1 students will investigate 2D Mixed Media through Printmaking, Collage, and Pastel Drawing. The curriculum focuses on developing fine motor skills and creative decision-making as students experiment with layering and mark-making. By the end of the term, students will have created works that showcase a variety of textures and techniques.

In STEAM this term, students will use both visual and verbal block code to move avatars or robots in a sequence of steps. All work is completed using an iPad and Education Department-approved coding apps.

 In Mandarin this term, students will be learning sentence structures to inform their hobbies and their favourite sports at the Olympic Games.
