ART

A very warm welcome from the Art Room!
Student Art Works
At the end of Term 1, our students had completed a plethora of amazing art pieces. Our Foundation students worked creatively on their line and school-inspired artworks, while the Grade 1 and 2 students drew, patterned, and coloured their named turtles and fluorescent tigers.
The Grade 3 and 4 students mastered the art of drawing their own portraits, and the Grade 5 and 6 students created artworks inspired by the design elements of Ale RB, a contemporary artist from Mexico.
Euroa Recovery Hub Collaborative Art
Students have been working hard on designing their own contribution to our collaborative art piece for display at the Euroa Hub. Each student has had the opportunity to design their own ‘heart’-patterned artwork, reflecting their unique experiences and emotions connected to their community.
Once our piece is completed, we encourage our local community to visit the Euroa Hub and view our work. We would like to thank the Strathbogie Shire for the opportunity to contribute to our local community and to express our emotions and experiences in collaboration with our peers.
Art Club
It is exciting to announce that our first St John’s Euroa Primary School Art Club classes have commenced. Each Monday, our budding and enthusiastic student artists come together to “talk” and “do” all things art. It is a time for upskilling, reflection, and peer support.
Our future goals for the club include reaching out to some of our amazing and capable local artists and inviting them to join us for discussion and reflection.
