Grade 2 | Wattle

Grade two enjoyed creating artwork and I’m sure you will agree that we have some very creative students. 

After reading the story The Snail and the Whale we created some artwork inspired by the story. We created an ocean using different art medium such as paper, wool, pastels and paint. The idea was to create depth and movement on the page. We then added the whale's tail and some of us even included the snail.  

During the lead up to Easter we created some Easter Bunnies. We were encouraged to use the whole page. Once we had drawn the bunnies we  painted them and added a background. We love how each one shows  its own unique personality.
