It has been a wonderfully busy and productive term in Grade One.

Literacy & Art

We have thoroughly enjoyed our storybook sessions! Edwina the Emu Can’t Dance was a class favourite. We used our pencil skills to sketch our own fantastic emus. We also used watercolours to paint beautiful flowers in vases. We drew lines and used watercolours to create a sunrise effect. Then we cut out crosses and stuck them onto our background to represent part of the Easter story.

Holy Week

This week, we have been learning about the significance of Holy Week. We have enjoyed our time rehearsing and performing our part of the Easter story. We especially liked getting into character and performing our song with actions!
