Grade 4 | Myrtle

This term Grade 4 completed a literacy unit based on Peter Brown’s novel The Wild Robot. Students have been eager to read a chapter together each day to discover more about the robot who was washed up on the island and see how she lives with the wild animals. 

An art project was incorporated within this unit, a collage. Each student used different painting and collage techniques to create their art piece. Have a look at our impressive collages! 

During Holy Week, Grade 4 focused on Good Friday the ‘Darkest Day’ part of the Easter story. Students displayed understanding and reverence as they participated in a re-enactment through photo taking, reading and song.
