Cubs Club
This year, Donvale Primary School has been fortunate to collaborate with the Lions Club, and we now have our very own Cubs Club! The Cubs Club works together to brainstorm fundraising ideas that support communities in need. We partner with a member of the Box Hill Lions Club, Pat, who helps bring our ideas to life.
We are currently at capacity for members, and at this stage we will not be taking on any new members. Please look out for membership details for 2026.
CHRISTMAS CAKES AND PUDDINGS AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE:
Support our local community with Lions Christmas Cakes & Puddings! Purchase some for yourself, your friends, your family or colleagues! A perfect little treat or Christmas gift.
Your child will be bringing home an order form this week if you’d like to purchase one of the delicious Christmas Cakes or Puddings. Our Cubs Club will be receiving a percentage of all profits.
Orders close on 30th November, so be sure to get in quick!

We were truly touched by the way you came together as a group, took the initiative to mark out the oval, and filled it with food items to help people in need. It’s amazing that you decided on your own to support Doncare, your kindness, teamwork, and leadership are inspiring!
Your thoughtful actions show how powerful young people can be when they work together to make a difference. The food you collected will go directly to families who are going through tough times and need a helping hand. Thanks to you, they’ll have meals on the table and hope in their hearts.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEWEST MEMBERS:
Last Friday, during our school assembly (and yes, it was pyjama day!), we had the pleasure of inducting our newest Cubs Club members. We’re so excited to have you join us and officially welcome you to the club!
STAMPS AND BREAD TAGS:
We are still collecting stamps and bread tags (cardboard or plastic ones). If you have any to donate, there are two collection boxes located at the school office.
We truly appreciate your support - and we know the communities we’re helping will too.
