Pacer Rebate

Students from our school have recently undertaken an education tour of the national capital. Students have been given the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational programs with a focus on Australia’s history, culture, heritage, and democracy.

The Australian Government recognises the importance of all young Australians being able to visit the national capital as part of their Civics and Citizenship education. To assist families in meeting the cost of the excursion the Australian Government is contributing funding to Catherine  McAuley Orange in the amount of  $30 per student under the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate program towards those costs. The rebate is paid directly to the school upon completion of the excursion.

NSW Athletics - Skills Clinic & Education Course

Athletics provides a fantastic opportunity for students and teachers to develop practical skills and confidence required to coach, officiate, or volunteer effectively at school carnivals and local athletics clubs.

NSW Athletics will be running a Skills Clinic for ages 8–16 and an Education Course for anyone aged 14 and above on 17th July at Waratah Sportsground, Orange.

Skills Clinic

This clinic is all about building skills and learning the right technique from the start. Our coaches will make sure everyone has a fun and enjoyable experience while focusing on the fundamentals that help athletes improve.

Whether you are a beginner or at a state level, good technique is the key to improving your performance.

ITLAS Education Course

We invite all age managers, parent helpers, aspiring or current youth coaches, and PE teachers to take advantage of this professional development opportunity and contribute to the continued growth and success of athletics within their community.

We are pleased to offer a complimentary course designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to coach, officiate, or volunteer at local Athletics Clubs and School Carnivals.

This course is an excellent opportunity to build confidence, enhance your understanding of athletics events, and contribute positively to the development of young athletes within your community.
