Mother’s Day Liturgy
Celebrating the Gift of Mothers and Special Women in Our Lives
Today, our school community gathered in prayer at St Joseph’s Parish to celebrate the special gift of mothers, grandmothers, and the many women in our lives who nurture, guide and care for us with love.
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Prep teachers, Ms Liolios, Ms Nashed and Ms La Rosa, for preparing the children so beautifully to lead us in prayer and reflection. The reverence and participation shown by our students throughout the liturgy was truly commendable and reflected the prayerful spirit of our school community.
Thank you also to Father Gallacher for leading us in prayer and for offering a special blessing to all mothers and female role models within our community.
We are deeply grateful to all the families who joined us today. Your presence helped make the celebration so meaningful and reminded us of the strong partnership between home, school and parish.
As a Catholic community, we give thanks for the love, sacrifice and kindness shown by the women in our lives each day. Inspired by Mary, the Mother of Jesus, may we continue to honour and support all those who care for others with compassion, strength and faith.
We keep all mothers, grandmothers, carers, and significant female role models especially those who may no longer be with us in our prayers today and always.
May God continue to bless all the women in our community with peace, joy and love, today and always.
