COMMUNITY CONNECTION
We are nearing the end of Term 1 already! The PFA have their very first fundraising event next week. We hope to see many dancers at our school disco. It’s a great way to have fun and raise money for our new playground at the same time.

Join us for Wollert PS school DISCO
March 26th 2026 in the GYM
The dance party kicks off with
Prep, Grade 1 & 2 from
4:15pm to 5:15pm
Grades 3 4 5 & 6 from
5:30pm to 6:45pm
With an entry fee of $7
Students will enjoy an afternoon filled with entertainment, featuring an interactive DJ & games, laser lights, glow sticks, snacks and a delightful photo balloon arch to capture the memories!
Things to note:
- Strictly NO phones allowed
- This event is for students only, parents/guardians must sign students in and out at the door. Parents cannot stay on the school grounds during the event, this is for child safety reasons.
- The day will be a Casual Dress Day with a gold coin donation to save time after school. We ask that the kids still wear appropriate shoes.
Those attending Team Kids for the day can still participate, they will be signed in and out and returned to Team Kids after the event.

Second Hand Uniform Store
Do your children have uniforms they’ve outgrown? We’d love for you to donate them! Please drop any clean, good-condition uniforms at the school office.

Mother’s Day Raffle
The PFA are currently collecting items for a Mother’s Day Raffle. If anyone has a business, big or small, who has something they may be able to donate, we would be very appreciative. All businesses will be listed in the School’s Newsletter after the raffle has been drawn.
New Members
Interested in getting involved with the Parents and Friends Association (PFA)?
We are always looking for new members to join. You can be involved as much or as little as you like — there’s no pressure to do more than you’re comfortable with.
We hold monthly meetings on Tuesdays at 5:30pm in the school library. You’re welcome to bring your children along, join online from home, or stay involved even if you’re unable to attend meetings. Email pfa.wollert.ps@gmail.com for more information.

Not interested in planning but would like to volunteer?
Keep an eye on Compass for volunteering opportunities.
Volunteer opportunities may be ongoing or one off events and could include:
- Helping with canteen duty
- Assisting on sports days or special school events
- Helping at Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls
- Supporting classroom activities such as reading
