Wellbeing

It’s hard to believe how quickly the term has flown by. Over the past few weeks, it has been wonderful to see just how settled and connected our students are in their classrooms.

A highlight each morning has been the way classes are beginning their day with Circle Time. Students are arriving and transitioning smoothly into their classrooms, ready to start the day alongside their peers. These small but important routines are making a big difference in setting a calm and positive tone for learning. It has also been fantastic to see this continue during Chinese Instruction time, with a smooth transition between English and Chinese while maintaining consistent routines across both settings.

Our Grade 3 and Grade 5 students have now completed NAPLAN. We are incredibly proud of the way they approached each session, remaining calm, focused, and willing to have a go. This reflects the confidence they are building in their learning.

Across the school, we have also quietly begun preparing for Harmony Day and Harmony Week. Classes have been taking time to recognise and celebrate the rich diversity within our community, and the importance of belonging and inclusion for all.

As we move towards the end of term, it’s natural for students to begin feeling a little tired. Maintaining simple routines at home can make a big difference - regular bedtimes, limiting screen time in the evenings, and allowing time to rest and recharge will help students finish the term feeling positive and settled.

Thank you for your ongoing support this term, it makes a real difference to your child’s wellbeing and learning. We’re looking forward to finishing the term strong, together.
