BASE 1270 NEWS!

Wow, this term is really flying by! How are we in week 9 already?

We have had a busy start to the year at Base 1270. We have welcomed a lot of new students and families to our service and have spent some time getting to know each other and building new, long-lasting connections.

This term we have been focusing on our individuality and our identity. We have looked at building our resilience by not giving up when something didn’t work out the first time. We have explored how we are not all the same and that we all have/say/do/feel things that make us unique. That it is ok if we do things differently or think differently, everyone’s opinion is valid and we don’t need to react in a negative way when something is not how we think it should be.

We have been busy planning our Vacation Care program for the upcoming Easter School Holidays. The program is in this week’s newsletter and you will find something to suit everyone. From fidgets to ball games and brain teasers to a mystery movie excursion.

Bookings can be made via Xplor for existing enrolments. If your child/children are not currently enrolled by would like to attend our Vacation Care program, you can click the link below and it will take you directly to our enrolment form. You will also need to attend an orientation before any bookings can be made/confirmed.

Did you know that our Vacation Care programs are open to all primary school students? So, if your child has a friend who really wants to come with them (and their parents agree) they can; they just need to go through the enrolment process beforehand.

We are looking forward to another FUNtastic Vacation Care program and a very busy Term 2.
