Year 11 Students Starting the Term Strong
Year 11 students have started the term strong and are already focusing on the work they need to complete their courses successfully. With a busy term ahead, students are encouraged to stay organised, manage their time effectively, and maintain consistent effort across all subjects.
Many students have already begun planning and working on major projects, giving themselves a valuable head start. Taking the initiative now will help reduce pressure later in the year and build the skills required for success in Year 12.
At the first assembly of the term, students were reminded to stay on top of their studies from day one. Success in Year 11 and beyond, comes from consistent effort over time, rather than leaving tasks until the last minute. Students were encouraged to take advantage of every learning opportunity, seek support when needed, and remain focused on their goals.
With a strong start and a positive attitude, Year 11 students are well placed to make the most of the term ahead and continue building a solid foundation for their transition into Year 12.
In addition, students in trade programs must attend until the end of Week 6 to complete all Year 11 course requirements. This time is important for completing practical competencies, assessments, and workplace learning activities, so students can receive full credit for their Year 11 studies and stay on track for next year.
