From the Principal

Hello Gympie East parents, carers and community,

Thankyou to Staff, Parents and our whole school community on an excellent term! Our focus is not just on their academic progress but also their social emotional wellbeing. However, our students are performing exceedingly well. 

In English, our school has 92% achieving a C or higher, with 62% achieving an A or a B. In Maths, our school has 92% achieving a C or higher, with 69% achieving an A or a B. These are outstanding results and demonstrates not only the skill and expertise our teachers possess but also the hard work that students put into their learning. 

We have a big Term 3 coming up. It begins with a Disco in Hamilton Hall at Gympie High School on Thursday 16th of July. We are so thankful to Gympie State High School for allowing us to use their hall, they are terrific supporters of us and we are very happy to be their feeder school and work closely with them. We have many other important dates coming up which are in the 'Dates to Remember' section, most importantly our Grandparents/Special Person's Day on Wednesday 16th of September. Please circle this on your calendar and inform all Grandparents or Special people in your child's life about this terrific day, it will run from 12pm - 3pm. 

I hope everyone has a relaxing June School Holidays and comes back refreshed and revitalised for another positive term of learning.
