On Monday, during our whole-school assembly, the following students were acknowledged, and their learning was described so we all know why they are worthy recipients of our awards and applause.

2E | Szechna | For being a learner who consistently demonstrates resilience in the classroom. You show determination during Maths tasks, always trying your best and never giving up when you face challenges. You are willing to ask for help when needed, work through problems step by step, and then apply your learning independently. We are so proud of the way you persevere and complete your tasks. Your resilience is also evident in your writing, where you have worked hard to create a variety of fairy tale stories and develop detailed information reports and slideshows. This shows you know how to find information and use it to keep going on your own. You stayed focused and tried hard to work independently. Well done Greeshna, keep it up! |
2E | Noah | For being a creative and motivated learner. Your creativity was clearly shown when you designed and built a 1:1 guitar model, applying your understanding of vibration and sound. It is wonderful to see your motivation to keep creating musical instruments using what you have learned. You consistently produce high-quality work across all learning areas, especially in Maths, where you confidently solve problems and take on challenging tasks. You are always willing to extend your learning and work hard to improve. You are also a supportive and helpful member of our classroom, always assisting your peers. Excellent work, Noah. 2A | Isabelle | This is for a motivated learner who stays focused and engaged in every lesson and always tries your best to complete your work. You show kindness by helping your classmates and being a supportive friend. It has been fantastic to see your enthusiasm during Inquiry, particularly when working in a small group to create your instrument and sharing special items from home with the class. You thoughtfully used modelled examples and checklists to review your draft, identifying areas for improvement before beginning to publish.
